Dartmouth House is a self catering accommodation located in Olney, a Georgian market town in the surroundings of Milton Keynes not far from Northampton and Bedford.

Originally owned by the Earl of Dartmouth, with records dating back to 1745, Dartmouth House is now run by The Queen Hotel Olney, 4 doors along at no.40 and meeting point where you collect keys upon your arrival.

This magnificent stone-built roadside cottage has retained many of its original features (including beamed ceilings and fireplaces) and can accommodate up to twelve people.

Spacious and comfortable, this fully furnished holiday house near Milton Keynes comprises:
- 1 large beamed living room with wood-burning stove and flagstone-tiled floor,
- 1 spacious beamed dining room with original 18th-century wooden floor,
- 1 large well-equipped kitchen with fitted units and quarry-tiled floor,
- 6 well appointed bedrooms each with flat screen TV (5 double rooms with 5ft bed and 1 twin room with additional single),
- 3 bathrooms.

To make the most of your stay, in all types of weather you can relax and dine in the large terrace with verandah overlooking a beautiful stone-walled English garden.

Dartmouth House is located along Dartmouth Road, a main road just 20 minutes from junction 14 of the M1 - making London very accessible.

Trains connect London Euston to Milton Keynes and London St Pancras International to Bedford in 45 minutes. Both Milton Keynes and Bedford railway stations are just 20 minutes away from Olney.

Travelling by car leave Junction 14 of the M1 motorway and follow signs to Newport Pagnell. Just before Newport Pagnell take the A509 signposted Wellingborough and Olney. The A509 continues through the High Street in Olney. Go through the church and the market square until you find the Two Brewers pub on your right and The Castle pub on your left. Dartmouth House is situated about 200 yards further up on the right hand side.

Luton airport is 35 minutes drive South on the M1 motorway.

OLNEY

Olney, one of the most sought-after destinations in North Buckinghamshire, is situated in an area with beautiful rolling countryside within easy driving distance of Northamptonshire and Bedfordshire.

Walking distance of the property you will find antique shops, boutiques, tea rooms and the William Cowper Museum. A few minutes’ drive leads to Woburn Abbey, Castle Ashby and Bletchley Park.

Children can enjoy themselves at the popular Whipsnade Zoo or at Gullivers World and Woburn Safari Park.

Fond of sports can benefit from a huge choice of sporting activites including the Snowdome for indoor skiing and snowboarding on man-made snow (in Milton Keynes, 20 minutes drive away) and outstanding walking and cycling areas, including Emberton Park and Sacey Forest.
